About Mosima Marole
Mosima Marole is a practicing Clinical Psychologist in both private sector and higher institution of Learning (Sefako Makgatho Health Science University). She completed her undergraduate BSc degree, BSc honours (Psychology) and currently holds a Masters in Clinical Psychology, which she all graduated from University of Limpopo currently known as Sefako Makgatho Health Science University. She then completed her internship at Dr George Mukhari Academic Hospital wherein she conducted psychotherapy and psychometric assessments with adults, children at outpatient unit and hospitalised patients. As part of the internship, she also worked in psychiatric contexts at both Dr. George Mukhari and Weskoppies Psychiatric State Hospital. During the community service she worked at the Department of Correctional Services (Polokwane management Area) where she managed the provision of psychological serviced to the Polokwane Correctional centre, Tzaneen and Modimolle Correctional centre. She rendered psychological services and conducted assessments to awaiting trial, sentenced offenders, parolees and juveniles.
Post community service, she started practicing independently full time in private practice until she was employed at University of Limpopo as a Student Counsellor. During her employment at the University of Limpopo she trained and developed interns, students, did school, and community outreach, and rendered psychological services to the students and neighboring communities. Post her employment at the University of Limpopo, she returned to private practice full time based in Pretoria. Currently Mosima Marole is a Clinical Psychologist and Lecturer at Sefako Makgatho Health Science University, training Master’s degree Clinical Psychology students in Applied Neuropsychology and undergraduate students (MBCHB & BDS) in Medical psychology and Dental psychology. Previously lectured BSc (1st, 2nd & 3rd years) and all first year psychology students.
Mosima Marole has vast interest in Neuropsychology, Assessments and Employee wellness. Ms Marole is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME). She holds a certificate of training from the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME). She is the sole founder of MAROLE MOSIMA PSYCHOLOGIST (PTY) LTD which is a 100% black owned company, established in 2017 and provides a range of mental health care services in both public and private sector.
